100-Hour Intensive Training & Certification

Program Structure (100 Hours)

Phase 1 – Foundations (30 Hours)

Siu Nim Tao (Little Idea Form) – structure, relaxation, energy cultivation

Fundamentals of Chi Sau – sensitivity and reflex drills

Basic Applications – self-defense scenarios and striking principles

Conditioning – posture, balance, and functional fitness for Wing Chun

 

Phase 2 – Applications & Teaching Skills (30 Hours)

Chum Kiu (Seeking Bridge Form) – movement, stepping, and power generation

Chi Sau Development – forward intention, redirection, and flow drills

Application Drills – defending against common attacks, adapting Wing Chun to real situations

Teaching Methodology – class planning, communication, and correction techniques

Apprenticeship Start – assisting in live classes (5 hours included here)

 

Phase 3 – Instructor Development & Apprenticeship (40 Hours)

Biu Jee (Thrusting Fingers Form) – advanced techniques, recovery strategies

Muk Yan Jong (Wooden Dummy Introduction) – precision and angle training

Chi Sau Variations & Controlled Sparring – testing skills under pressure

Instructor Apprenticeship (20 hours) – leading warm-ups, assisting beginners, co-teaching under supervision

Final Examination (5 hours) – technical demonstration, teaching evaluation, and written/oral test

Certification & Recognition

Graduates receive the Instructor Certification from Wing Chun Singapore (www.wingchunsg.com).

Certified instructors may:

Conduct classes under our lineage independently or in collaboration with our school

Join our instructor network for ongoing support, seminars, and workshops

Access updated training material and continued mentorship

Course Timetable

100 hours Instructor Certification

Total Hours: 100

  • Class Training: 75 hours

  • Apprenticeship (Assisting & Teaching Practice): 20 hours

  • Final Examination: 5 hours

Phase 1 – Foundations (30 Hours)

📅 Weeks 1–5

  • Weekly Class: 3 hours × 1 session = 15 hours

  • Extra Drills / Workshops: 3 hours × 5 weeks = 15 hours
     

Focus:

  • Siu Nim Tao

  • Basic Chi Sau

  • Striking & Defense Applications

  • Conditioning & Body Mechanics

Phase 2 – Applications & Teaching Skills (30 Hours)

📅 Weeks 6–10

  • Weekly Class: 3 hours × 1 session = 15 hours

  • Teaching Skills Workshop: 3 hours × 5 weeks = 15 hours


Focus:

  • Chum Kiu & Applied Footwork

  • Chi Sau Development

  • Practical Self-Defense Scenarios

  • Introduction to Teaching Methodology

  • Begin Apprenticeship (5 hours assisting in real classes)

 

Phase 3 – Instructor Development & Apprenticeship (40 Hours)

📅 Weeks 11–15

  • Weekly Class: 3 hours × 1 session = 15 hours

  • Advanced Workshops: 3 hours × 5 weeks = 15 hours

  • Apprenticeship: 20 hours (flexible, spread across Phases 2–3)

  • Final Examination: 5 hours
     

Focus:

  • Biu Jee & Emergency Applications

  • Wooden Dummy (Muk Yan Jong) – Foundation Work

  • Chi Sau Variations & Controlled Sparring

  • Leadership & Class Management

  • Teaching Apprenticeship (leading warm-ups, co-teaching, small group supervision)

  • Final Assessment

Example Weekly Schedule (Flexible Option)

  • Saturday (Training Class): 3 hours

  • Sunday (Workshop or Apprenticeship): 2–3 hours (optional depending on week)

  • Weeknight (Apprenticeship/Assisting): 2 hours (rotational, flexible with instructor approval)

This allows participants to complete the course in 15 weeks (approx. 4 months) on a part-time basis.
