CLASS SYLLABUS
Grading Criteria
Students who wish to progress and achieve the standard required for the WCKTC' skillset, can plan their lessons to learn the forms, techniques, and practice according to the syllabus set out here.
The grading's objective is to acknowledge that the students have put in the required hours of learning and achieving the skillsets under the WCKTC Lineage.
Beginner (Yellow) – Level 1A - 1C 12 months
Level 1A – 4 months
Level 1B – 4 months
Level 1C – 4 months
Intermediate (Green) – Level 2A - 2C 18 months
Level 2A – 6 months
Level 2B – 6 months
Level 2C – 6 months
Advanced (Blue) – Level 3A - 3C 18 months
Level 3A – 6 months
Level 3B – 6 months
Level 3C – 6 months
Instructor (Red) – Level 4 (1A - 2C) 12 months
Student will be tested from Level 1A - 2C in order to attain the title of an Instructor. After attaining Instructor Certification, a requirement of teaching at Wing Chun Kuen Training Centre (WCKTC) for 12 months is mandatory before permitted to teach outside of the school.
Person of an Instructor Level will be able to teach students of Beginner to Intermediate levels.
Senior Instructor (Brown) – Level 5 (1A -3C) 24 Months
The Instructor will be tested on all Levels from 1A - 3C in order to attain the title of a Senior Instructor. After attaining Senior Instructor Certification, a requirement of teaching at Wing Chun Kuen Training Centre (WCKTC) for 24 months is mandatory before permitted to teach outside of the school.
Person of a Senior Instructor Level will be able to teach students of Beginner to Advanced levels.
