On 18 July 2026, Wing Chun Kuen Training Centre (WCKTC) successfully conducted a Wing Chun Combat Sparring Workshop led by Instructor Nelson. The workshop brought together students of various levels to enhance their understanding and application of Wing Chun combat principles in a structured and practical training environment.

The session focused on Wing Chun triangular footwork, sparring stance, and footwork drills to develop mobility, balance, and positioning. Students learned different footwork entries to bridge the distance with an opponent while applying Wing Chun principles to intercept attacks and transition effectively between defence and offence.

Participants paired up to practise the various drills before putting their newly acquired skills into action during the final sparring segment. This allowed every student to experience close-range combat using authentic Wing Chun principles, while improving confidence, adaptability, and practical fighting skills.

The workshop provided a valuable learning experience for all participants and reflected WCKTC's continued commitment to developing students' technical proficiency and practical combat abilities through structured and progressive training.
